This thing is great when you want the hardest hitting force in a manual staple gun, but the adjustment doesn't seem to lighten the force much so I wouldn't buy it for that.Yes it takes a bit more hand strength than usual to use this, but most people won't have any trouble unless they have weaker than average hands. If you have weaker hands than usual due to whatever, you're probably going to want either a lighter force manual staple gun, or if you need high force you'll want an electric or pneumatic. My elderly mother wouldn't be able to use this very well.Even with decent hand strength it could get tiring if you had to use this all day every day, so I wouldn't try to run a furniture manufacturing business with it or anything. But for occasional fix it jobs or normal consumer projects it seems to be absolutely great. Not sure how well it holds up over time, but it seems to be made of heavy steel plates so doesn't look like something prone to falling apart.
