this thing is great. sturdier trigger than other glue guns. heats up super fast, I clocked in at 13 seconds in cold weather. it's small, it's light, and it's cordless. There's nothing not to like about this glue gunThis cordless glue gun is perfect for my needs -- mostly crafting. I can use it anywhere without having to hassle with areas without electricity. Plus there isn't a cord to get in the way of working on my projects. This glue gun heats up quickly and dispenses warm glue as it should. It also has minimal strings of glue that can make a mess and it doesn't drip glue from the nozzle. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others.Very good glue gun for every day use. It does come with glue stick which it is alright. I use the Gorrila Glue Stick which holds better and have more time to work with the glue. It takes 3-5 secs to heat up. It's worth every penny.Works very well all things considered. Heats quicker than I expected in all honesty. Only major downside I have encountered is the tendency to leak.Being cordless is such a convenience! It allows you to use the glue gun for so many other tasks than a standard glue gun. I was amazed at how quickly it heats up - a matter of seconds! I highly recommend this item!Love this hot glue gun. Wish it used the bigger hot glue sticks but still great. I use this to assemble bows while at my kids’ soccer practices. Very handy.Charges quickly and holds the heat! I used it for more than an hour and there wasn't any sign of it needing a charge!I love it! It does so well even though it's cordless. It really helps out when doing a outdoor wedding and etc.. I have no dislike! The glue is hot enough to hold your items.I’ve only used it once, and for 5 minutes, but my first impressions are very good for a no-name brand cordless tool. The build quality is reasonable for a $40 tool, the battery is built in, with no way of accessing it without taking the clamshell apart. I’m hoping it’s just an 18650 inside that I can replace myself once it stops holding a charge.I use this at work to keep Security cameras from shifting when their mounts are hit by forklifts or heavy vibrations. The cordless option is very nice and the glue is far easier to remove compared to the silicone I was using before when I want to adjust the cameras. The gun heats up in a matter of seconds, I was surprised and impressed how quickly it got to temp, and it can put out a ton of glue. I’m very happy with my purchase, but keep in mind this is the least used tool in my kit. It’ll sit in a drawer 360 days a year.I’ll update this review if my experience changes, or if I take it apart to check the battery.---Update March 20 - 2020 - Still happy.I've had the chance to use this a few times now and also take it apart to see how it works. The shell is a PA6GFR30-TPE (Nylon, 30% glass fibre reinforced with Thermoplastic Elastometer over moulding), which is really surprising as given the cost of the tool ($35 CAD right now) I would not expect them to put any glass fibre in the mold. The Battery is an 18650 with an underwhelming capacity of 1300mAh, but I get good enough life out of it for small jobs here and there. The battery has had tabs spot welded on, and then wires soldered onto the tabs. You could potentially replace the battery, but you'd want to be comfortable using a soldering iron on a bomb. Not recommended unless you know what you're doing. It's a single circuit board doing all the charging and the thinking, not much to it at all. lots of little wires running every which way in the case that could be easy to pinch so be careful if you take it apart. Finally - as a warning, this glue gun leaks. After about 5 minutes of sitting on my desk I had a small blob of glue stuck to the front of it. Not surprising as it's barely more expensive than a plug-in model. I BELIEVE The reason it leaks is the tiny retention spring they put on the trigger to hold it in place just isn't enough and it's at a funny angle because they chose to use a screw pillar to mount it rather than moulding in a mount in a better location or using an electronic trigger. Understandable for the price though, the gun would probably be 2-3x more expensive with an electronic trigger.Overall I'm really happy with the gun and would recommend it. The build quality is better than anything I've ever seen in such an inexpensive tool.As advertisedThe button doesn’t always advance the glue stick and the charge doesn’t last for larger projects.
