Fast shipping. Nice people. The outer shell is good but the magnet is weak and might hold some type of super light pistol but not what I expected.It will not hold any of my pistols. It is very weak. I would never recommend this product to my worst enemyThis is a fantastic magnetic gun mount. One of the best features it has, in my opinion, is space for a second magazine. You can mount this awesome device in less than two minutes. I highly recommend it!The magnet is a little too weak for my firearm, but its a nice product. Will not work for my car, so it can be used in another area if you have a magnetic spot to place this.It definitely works but won't be for the car. Over all pretty pleased!!This is a nice magnet - with some caveats.First, you will have better results with small to medium firearms. Ruger LCP. Yup. S&W Shield. Absolutely. However, anything larger or firearms that do not have flush slides...this likely won't have the grip you need.I probably would not use this in a vehicle, but that's entirely up to you. However, in a safe, discreet, stationary area this will work well for either 2 firearms or 1 gun and 1 mag. Recommended!Pretty simple installation. Holds my pistol well. I haven't had any problems with my pistol falling or sliding out. I mounted it underneath the steering column of my car and the magnet holds the pistol in place but allows me to easily dismount it when I'm getting out of the car.The mount is actually made from plastic. Only the middle section has the magnets. It’s actually good because it will not scratch the coating finish of the slides of my firearms. The magnets are not as strong as I expected. It is certainly not 60lbs because it barely can handle my SD40VE. Before I installed it, I just lightly jerked the magnet mount with my pistol on it and my pistol just dropped right off from the magnet. It seems to handle my M&P shield a lot better due to its smaller and thinner polymer frame. I will use the mount next to my work desk at home only because it isn’t strong enough in a moving vehicle.
