I was given one of these for my birthday and promptly bought another to give a friend for his birthday. We I’ve in the Sonoma wine country and open wine bottles frequently :). This pistol may be one of the best wine openers I have ever used. It is easy and so effective I accidentally took a cork out of a bottle without removing the foil first. It pulled the cork right through the wrapping! Place the end of the barrel on the top of the bottle and squeeze the trigger. In a few seconds you will have a cork in the barrel and an open bottle in your other hand! Push the back of the trigger forward and watch the cork unscrew out of the barrel and fall way. Allegedly, it will open 30-35 bottles on a charge and I am up to 10 or fifteen bottles (I can’t count so well after some wine.), and it is still going strong on the initial charge.
