This should be mandatory reading for High School students and any adult. It sheds light on friends, family and the importance of respect and passing on life lessons and truly slowing down enough in today’s world to see the beauty in everything, just if you look for it. This books sheds a light on what was (and still is) how people no matter their childhood up bringings and current biases can stop and be excepting and see the person as a human being that has something to offer all of us. There is no particular color in this book but, only even beautiful color that you can imagine. This story has also been on Public Television in Kentucky. This 1 hour show should be shared with the world.I am so glad that being in my 60 now, that I was raised by parents who didn’t see color in people, only kindness and things to share. I was fortunate to be exposed to people of ethnic backgrounds even though we lived in the country. Everyone has a story and is interesting, if we would just stop and listen, laugh, cry and reflect.Well done Mr. Walt Harrington!!!
