I ended up buying 3 so i could easily lock up my firearm. changing the code was simple and you can quickly loop the cable through a tie down hook or bolt it to a solid flat surface.Good bang for buck. It's not a safe but it's a great deterrent against theft! I would buy it again.It works as neededThis box works great for my S&W M&P 9mm when I have to bring it home. Solid metal construction, padded interior keeps pistol in place and fat steel cable will be hard to cut. My car got broken into last month and my Glock got stolen. I replaced the Glock but wanted a deterrent or slow down to prevent future thefts. I’m sure this will do it. Unless they come in with bolt cutters or heavy tools this will work. Ordered a second one for the next to keep weapon handy but safe from kids and others.So far was acceptable for the NYS new concealed in car pistol law. Good price for what I needed.Just barely fits my gun and 2 mags, still have to put it all in at certain angles or it wont close
