Product works excellent, but I was sent the wrong unit color. I selected the BLACK option for my color choice and received the Tan Earth color instead. I’m a little displeased with that, as that is not what was advertised, but other than that it works as described and grips the rails very well. beware, switches are stiff, but rugged.Still the gold standard of weapon lights.The B format with the screw down tension is far superior to my older A format. This is a prefect for for all of my Glock polymer lowers and there is 100% NO rattle and fits snug and tight as expected. The 1,000 lumen is the reason I own multiple dedicated Surefires for all my handguns.It’s bright, it works. But the cost is honestly dumb. I have 2 TRL-1HLs and work better than the x300. There’s no strobe option and realistically only got the light so I can get a holster for suppressed pistols. Will never buy again. It’s just parFine material and style. But no advantage over Streamlight TLR 1 for less than half of the money. The switch is very stiff, has to activate using the off-hand, and momentary activation requires quite some force and disengages while shooting.It is NO LONGER THE KING OF PISTOL LIGHT. Returned.(Also, it could be warehouse workers' fault, not surefire's. They mailed the wrong color to me.)Finally decided to buy this flashlight and am very pleased with the quality. Highly recommend it!Arrived broken and without batteries. The lever switch would not budge and the battery door was jammed shut. I don’t think this is the manufactures fault, I think someone ordered this item, returned a broken one in the same box and kept the batteriesthis model said 1000 lumens compared to other ultra 300's i have that list 500 lumen. head to head this one is brighter than previous bought ultra's. i like the t- slot screw attachment as on some longer rails, spring loaded a pain to slide on and off.
