I'm currently working on a miniature scene and wanted to try using liquid clay for the ponds instead of resin, since I've seen other people use liquid clay as a glaze for polymer clay jewelry and to fill small bezels/cabochons. I knew my full-sized heat gun would have too high of a temperature, so I decided to try this as an experiment, and it's absolutely perfect! The dual temperature settings are in the perfect range for my needs, and the heat gun seems to be very good quality. I was pleasantly surprised at how light it is, and it's also far quieter than expected. I would have liked a longer electrical cord, but I honestly think that about almost everything with a plug, and it's by no means shorter than other tools. My project is still in progress, so I apologize that these photos don't fully demonstrate what I mean about using it to cure liquid clay and make it more shiny/clear, but hopefully they at least give enough of an idea to help someone else.
