Sometimes a cowboy just has to speak his mind. But if your horse ain’t moving fast, you’ll want to make sure you are saddled up with a couple reinforcements at your side. Our Double Leather Western Belt and Holster, in the heavy-duty "Buscadero" style, will keep you ready on the left and the right. Our premium quality leather western drop loop style gun belt with .44/.45 cal shell loops, includes two matching holsters sized for standard frame revolvers with barrel lengths 4 to 6 inches. Gun belt is stitched from two 1/8 inch thick leather sections, forming a full 1/4 inch finished belt that will stand up to the rigors of daily use. The belt and holster are simple and unadorned, with silver hardware and ammo loops across the back. Features a leather leg tie strap, and also an adjustable leather hammer loop to secure your pistol. Buckle and number of ammo loops may vary slightly from image. Produced in Mexico by skilled craftsmen, this south-of-the-border original was ubiquitous in the 1800's Southwest. See our storefront for more items! How to select a gunbelt size: If your waist measures under 34 inches, add two inches If your waist measures between 34 - 48 inches, add four inches If your waist measures over 48 inches, add six inches Holster/Gunbelt Rig Sizing Our gun belts are sized by hip size, not waist size. The size gun belt you need will be LARGER than your waist size, as shown. DO NOT just select your jeans size, or you will very likely end up with a belt that is too small. Our gun belts are sized in inches, and each belt has a range of +/- two inches from the labeled size. It is VERY important that you measure yourself for a good fit. Measure your waist, with a cloth tape measure Using the chart to the right, add to your waist size to find your belt size Round up to the nearest even number How to Adjust your Holster If you find that your pistol does not fit neatly into the holster, you can adjust the shape of the holster opening for a better fit. Built into the body of the holster, (between the leather layers,) there is an integrated steel frame which can be bent with pressure on the sides or ends. After bending, it should hold its new shape. Holster is too round, pistol is loose If the holster mouth is too CIRCULAR, and your pistol feels loose and will not slide down far enough, Press down on the side of the Holster to make the opening more oval Holster is too flat, pistol is tight If the holster mouth is too FLAT, and tight against the sides of the pistol frame, Squeeze the ends to widen the opening. At Historical Emporium, we are proud of the holsters we offer! We work closely with our manufacturers to ensure that the color, leather grade and manufacturing quality are up to our high standards. These photos were taken at Historical Emporium’s warehouse, with items from our own stock.
